Wouldn't it be funny if America got into sooo much debt, that not even the whole world could pay it off if they truly wanted to, and then we all went into a Global Economic collapse, and money lost it's value, and then after that, we say "Fu*k the money"and chill out. Personally I like that more than the idea of us having some kind of nuclear war (also it's more probable considering that Obama is the one who wins).

Still, it's going to suck for a while. On that picture I'd say that the bigger the spiral gets, the faster we go around it (i.e. it took more than 1mil. years for the planet to evolve life, which was the second smallest spiral in the picture, and then it took even less time for humans to evolve from dinosaurs the 4th spiral in the picture), so lets see, it's been about idk 300-1000 years since we started paving our roads (the 5th spiral), So I'll assume that the part where things fall apart lasts for around 20-30years (as an optimist) and then only after that, only the people that make it through will finally be able to enjoy the pleasures of having a great consciousness.

Just wondering, was any of that correct at all?

another thing, since science tells us that we are becoming a more unified race, does that mean that when this higher consciousness thing happens, we'll all be relatively the same?

Two things,

1.) if this is an accurate representation of your dreams, then I would actually make an effort to control them. For me at the very least if I was having this nightmare, I would destroy everything, make things happen, not just watch them happen (which is why I say destroy, because in essence when you destroy something, your making room for something new, which this time, you create)

2.) This is an insane dream. There is the normal layover of a dream (i.e. changes in the world, pauses, new things and old things together) but then there's the overall mood. This was dark, and had something to do with sacrifice. Even when the dream went to the edge (no more city or background, just so called "nature") there were things that silenced and "shushed" the flow of characters, only to hear something that made it all seem meaningful.

Overall it's OK animation, I'm not a big fan of animating pictures of real things, as well as the fact that some of the topics were gruesome. If this is your dream though, seriously, find something to make you happy, because that was fu*ked up

wtffffff

Jonas responds:

We had a discussion about the rating, and realized that if anything, this cartoon is immature, not mature.

LOL,

me in my bathtub with my little toy boat (5 years ago XD)

Based off of "The Ring", where the TV is the devil!!!

MindChamber responds:

try older, like "videodrome"

;)

wtfwtfwtfwtfwtfwtfwtf

so confused

so the news caster is actually human?

on another note, I admire the narrator, *King Troll*

Great, it wasn't about the animation, it was about the symbolism.

as for the meaning, I may be able to elaborate.

He lost his mother to some kind of murderer who kept a promise to always be there for him. Everything became darker. But in a desperate attempt to continue on with life, he-in his sadness-got the bravery to move on and figure out how it all works (his mom dying was sad, but he wanted to know why). In reality, his mom was just a very small part, a mere piece of the puzzle. Now wherever he goes he learns more, and just like our real life, where we are always learning, so is he. It is a long journey ahead for him, and if he turns back, all will be for nothing, he won't even find comfort because there is no meaning anymore. Even the place he is going is still going to be more hazardous and harder to overcome than the place he was, however now he is moving, and living through life.

make sure to tell me if i'm even a little bit right

daigonite responds:

well that's definitely not what I was going for but that's an awesome interpretation nonetheless.

It's actually more about the girl (yeah she is a girl actually; although she's purposely drawn fairly androgynous to avoid any sort of gender-based symbolism) discovering something about herself and disagreeing with her mom, but in reality her mom's feelings were more safe and secure, and now she has to deal with this revelation on her own. At first she feels that her mom was just being a bitch and that's why she rejects the heart, but later she realizes that her mother was only trying to protect her from the troubles of her newly discovered condition, and learning that she has to overcome it herself without the help of her mother, since she passed the "event horizon". As such, "Sometimes when you figure out the truth, there's no going back".

The new world represents the cold, dark truth. It shows how even though the naive girl thought it was better, it's not really any better, and now she can't return to the world she knew previously.

wow,

for once, I see an animation that's despite not being perfect flash wise, is really good because its good story-wise

nice work,

Kk, they should make snow gollums, and basically make them wreck the place. meanwhile at the same time, everyone else just throws sand down into the cave so they suffocate.

good short tho

Dammn. That was the scariest thing since the Matrix.

Wow, when I realized it, I was amazed. That's freaky though. Extremely freaky. and tells the truth about change. Wow,

one question though, who are the white people? (as in, I understand kindof, but not that much).

another thing, the ending freaked me out. The fact that it continues on.

on another note, nice animation, it was fluid, and extremely high level, keep up the good work guys
